Back to School Donation Drive.

Yes you heard right, Santa is gearing up over the summer to help 150+ children from Cornerstone Community Outreach Program get ready for the next school year.

Our Santa Program supports the Cornerstone Community Outreach which offers shelter and services to homeless and low-income families and individuals through a variety of programs on the North-side of Chicago.

I'm sure you know how hard that first day of a new school year is, but imagine if you had to be the homeless child showing up without school supplies or a clean uniform. We're just trying to make a difference one child at a time.

You can help us in many ways to make it just a little easier on these children that attend 6 different schools in Chicago. Please take time to go through your own children's cloths and shoes and anything that doesn't fit them please pack up and ship to us or drop off at one of our Drop Off Locations. Clothes, shoes, Tshirts, gently used or new socks and underwear will be greatly appreciated.

When you're out shopping for your own children buy an extra something to donate.

And of course the most important help with a back to school donation drive is CASH DONATIONS! As a non-profit, we can shop tax free and certain locations give us an additional discount (so your money goes a little farther).

TO MAKE A DONATION: You can make a PayPal donation of any monetary amount, send a check or send a Target gift card. We'll use the donations to purchase backpacks, school supplies and school uniforms. Our Santa Shoppers know how to stretch a dollar.

This year we are also continuing our shoe fundraising drive for the children. Imagine how exciting going to pick out a brand new pair of shoes to wear your first day of school. The social workers will take the children on a shopping spree to Target and Payless Shoes to pick out their very own pair of shoes. Of course the more money we raise, the more children that will have new shoes.
